Payless Car Rental

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is Optional
Purchase of LDW relieves the renter of financial responsibility in case of loss of or damage to the Payless vehicle due to an accident, vandalism or theft. The minimum deductible for all car groups is 500.00 USD. If LDW is declined, the customer will be responsible for up to the full value of the vehicle plus additional expenses including an administrative fee, towing expense and time loss (during repair) or disposal fee (in case of total loss). Charge Card Hold: If LDW is accepted, the deposit is 500.00 USD. If LDW is not accepted a deposit of 800.00 USD would be required plus the estimated rental charges.

Charge Card must be in renters name.

Payless Curacao accepts Payless Charge Card, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, Optima and Visa.

At the time of rental, there will be a charge card hold of the estimated rental charges plus the NWE (Non-Waivable Excess) of 500.00 USD,depending on the renter’s choice of coverage options. If LDW is not accepted a deposit of 800.00 USD would be required plus the estimated rental charges.

Debit cards are not accepted.

A valid driving license with a photo from the renter's country of residence and must have been held for at least two years immediately prior to the rental pick-up date. Additionally, all driving licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP). International driving license is a translation only. License must not have any restrictions on it. NOTE- A maximum age may apply.

All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements and present a valid photo driver’s license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.

Additional Driver Fees: 
5.00 USD per day, per additional driver. 
10.00 USD per day, Underage surcharge for additional drivers between the ages of 21 and 24.

After hours returns are not permitted.

Drivers's license must not have any restrictions.

The minimum age with a Payless-Honored charge card -
• For all car groups 25 
There is no maximum age if the driver’s license does not have any restrictions.

An Underage Surcharge of 10.00 USD per day for drivers between the ages of 21 and 24.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full or a refueling charge will apply. Please check at rental counter for details.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period.  If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

Public liability and property damage coverages up to 150,000.00 NAG (approx. 83,000.00 USD) is included in the rates.

Charge Card must be in renters name.

Purchase of PAI provides accidental death and medical expense benefits to the renter and all passengers in the Payless vehicle.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Cars can be returned to other Payless locations within this country based on car availability.  Vehicles are not available for one way rentals outside this country.
