Purchase of CDW reduces the customers financial responsibility for damages to the vehicle to 1,000.00 USD, provided that the customer complies with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) you will be responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle. If using a debit card CDW is mandatory.
A deposit is required on a credit card as a guarantee, which ranges between 300.00 USD and 500.00 USD depending on the category of the vehicle and the duration of the rental. The credit card must be in the renters name. Payless Nicaragua does not accept a Discover Card for the initial deposit, it is only accepted for payment at the end of the rental.
Additional drivers are allowed. The additional authorized drivers must be over 25 years and less than or equal to 70 years.
The additional driver must have a valid driving license and the appropriate driving license category for the vehicle type rented.
Additional drivers must be present at the Payless office at the start of the rental. The additional drivers must present the required documents and meet all requirements. All required documents will be scanned or photocopied by Payless Rent a Car.
The additional driver document must be signed, completed and delivered at the counter at the time of rental. It must be signed and authorized by the renter.
If the additional driver is not present at the start of the rental and the renter wishes to add another driver: the renter, the additional driver and the rented vehicle must be present at the nearest Payless office to sign the required documentation and meet all requirements for additional drivers.
The charge for an additional driver is US $5.00 per day.
There is no charge if the additional driver is the renters spouse, or if the renter cannot drive or does not have a license.
The maximum number of additional drivers is 4.
The maximum charge for each additional driver will be US $100.00 per month per rental.
Payless reserves the right to accept or reject the additional driver.
The additional driver cannot change the original rental contract or any of its terms.
